Conservative led Wiltshire Council is hosting a series of events in community areas across Wiltshire where people can ask questions and find out more about the work of the council.
Events will take place in local community areas so that sessions are convenient for people to attend and questions are relevant to their local area.
The first event will take place in Chippenham at the Olympiad Leisure Centre on 16 February from 6pm to 7.30pm. The next three events have also been confirmed:
- Devizes - March
- Westbury - April
- Salisbury - May
Dates for these sessions and further locations will be announced soon.
People are encouraged to ask any questions about the council, its objectives and priorities, and the challenges ahead. The events are an opportunity to put questions directly to the leader of the council and hear his thoughts and plans for the future.
Cllr Richard Clewer, Leader of Wiltshire Council, said:
I want to build on our positive work engaging with communities on how we deliver for Wiltshire by visiting each community area to hear from local residents and answer their questions.
These events will help to ensure our priorities reflect those of local communities and will also give us valuable feedback that we can use to improve our services.
It's a fantastic opportunity to put your questions directly to me on issues that matter to you and I look forward to seeing you there.
The events will not be filmed although questions and answers will be posted on the Wiltshire Council website.
